A very comforting start into a NY trip

But do not worry, after a 'defrosting' session and 2 hours of delays my little plane finally got the OK to depart.
Obviously it's hard to see what's going on out there, but thank goodness I got a zoom on this camera: let's see...
Ok looks like another plane. Air France obviously. (I'm flying Air Canada btw). Now for a better zooming in:
Oh, fun. Let's see: a frozen plane, a whole batallion of anti-riot police forces lined up next to police cars and a stealth security van hanging out in the cold... very reassuring indeed. I'm amazed I got out of this alive.

I hope your trip is fun - the weather up in the northeast is pretty awful this weekend. 18 inches of snow in Washington, and I think that storm is in New York/New England now.
