Guimard created his trademark gates for the CMP (Compagnie du Métropolitain de Paris).
The only other station to still have its original roofing can now be found at the Abbesses station near Montmartre, though it got transfered there in the 70s from the Hotel de Ville station.

it looks very elegant for a tube station!! It’s so great to be able to live amongst history like that. Nothing elegant is built today with that much detail, it’s sad.
