Returning back to Paris

This morning at 8AM, a plane coming from Houston landed in Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and dropped me back into my regular Paris life after spending almost a whole day on the road. It was only this morning when I woke up in a warm bed in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by all those people that I came to appreciate over the last month. (PuppyDogs, I love you, and my compliments to Anne and her culinary skills that would even make a young Boccuse blush)
I have spent the last weeks (counting from the second of June) in so many fantastic places and cities, met so many fascinating people, and used almost every possible way of transportation, be it transatlantic ocean liner, plane, bus, train, subway, streetcar, taxi or rental car.
I have finally met Erik and spend unforgettable time and moments with him, and I cannot wait till he show up on this side of the Atlantic ocean around Christmastime (156 days indeed it is, good calculation work, Erik!). I miss you already like crazy, and truly love you. I've seen parts of the States that I've never been to before, and I'm glad I saw them with you. Ok, now you can stop blushing.
Resulting from these diverse road trips are more than 2000 pictures I took, and that I've tried to upload gradually onto my flickr account. I*m not done yet, but you can expect some pretty big picture posts on here in the coming weeks of summer with more detailed explanations on our adventures on the road.
Paris looks like it hasn't changed that much during my absence, despite the fact that only recently it became partially street-viewable on googlemaps (thanks for pointing that out for me Erik:)
