ATLANTIC UPDATE III
1 Comments Published by Cedric Benetti on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at 6/04/2008 01:55:00 PM.Today you might see what I look like with my smoking and penguin look… gah the things you gotta go through in your life. A whole boat filled with penguins and evening gowns… I even saw some couples in wedding dresses (the female, not both parts of it).
We were all dressed over the top, and a stroll through the boats reception rooms and main hallways seemed like something out of another era for a short moment. As orchestras started to play and people got settled in the lounges and bars, others started to dance at the royal ball in the Queens Ballroom. I myself preferred to go for a nightwalk on the promenade deck, even though the wind was quite heavy (oh the hair). So I finally ended up in the library to have an evening read and a look through the day*s newspapers from around the globe.
Today I skipped breakfast, since I noticed that even I started to have 3 meals a day. Some ono this boat do have more than 6 meals if you don*t count snacks and teatime scones and biscuits. Even your room gets stuffed up with food at nighttime, chocolate coated nighttime strawberries and pillow chocolate mints…
It must be 9:30AM now, so that means that the bingo group must already have started… or maybe I*ll go settle down at the champagne bar to check in on the war veterans memorial meeting this afternoon?
Tonight: captain*s reception cocktail… more penguins.
