Concept by Rem Koolhaas andnd Reinier de Graaf of Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA)






This enormous thing seated in the middle of the desert will be hosting a convention centre, hotel rooms, apartments, offices and retail space in a giant sphere. A stretched low-rise building adjacent to the sphere `hovers` above the ground beside the exhibtion centre, retail and additional hotel rooms.
Oh and yes, obviously it looks like the Death Star, but do I really need to point that out?
I love it!

    I am Cedric, discoverer of things that would go unnoticed in the streets of Paris, historic haven of fashionistas and city of lights ('lights' as in 'enlightenment', not street lights).
