PARIS - NEW YORK at prices beyond braindeadness
0 Comments Published by Cedric Benetti on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 3/05/2008 04:20:00 PM.Oh when will we finally be able to cross the Atlantic at prices so ridiculously low we*d need to hit ourselves with multiple heavy objects in a row in order to not get a brain blocage?
Crappy cheap airline Ryanair might come up with an answer to this by 2009 apparently. The company*s CEO announced in April 2007 they were working on a transatlantic line, in accord with the "Open Sky" agreements, liberalizing air traffic between Europe and the US.
The result: a trip to New York at a price as low as 12 Dollars (9 Euros).
Hit me with a grand piano NOW!
NOW!
Or a cow! Hit me with a cow!
Ok now for a bit of realism. Apparently if you add airport taxes, and lots of other stuff thats quite important such as maintenance and the fact that Ryanair needs to stock up its fleet with some big engines (747s and A350s) the prices might eventually move up to around 300 Euros, which is still ridiculous...
