For quite some time now, a weirdly shaped and brightly colored structure is sitting on the top of Palais de Tokyo Contemporary Art Center.
The structure is a project called Hotel Everland and was created by Swiss artist-duo L/B (Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann) who are known for installations that deal with architecture and space and invite the viewer to get involved and become part of the artwork.
It*s a one-room hotel space which can be booked for a night. Unfortunately all available nights are booked for the Paris stay of this fun-pad.
The next night Tuesday, 15 January 2008 will be available for booking on 16 November 2007 at a random hour on the hotel*s webpage, if you want to get the experience of a breathtaking view of Paris and the nearby Eiffel Tower. Room rates are between 333 and 444 Euros per night.
You can also participate in an online auction to get the night for New Year*s Eve, which is currently at about 1200 Euros on EBay...
